Spec sheets promise depth you'll never see, every machine claims to do everything, and most stores sell whatever is on the shelf. Beginners end up with the wrong detector for the ground they actually hunt, and many give up before their first good find.
Janet Kitsmiller founded Metal Detector Pros in Orlando, Florida, to build a store that does one thing: metal detectors, pinpointers, coils, headphones and the tools you dig with. Nothing else.
How we choose what we sell
We're a young company, and we'd rather be upfront about that. We research every machine before it goes on the site: what ground it suits, who it's right for, and what it won't do well. We're working toward direct relationships with the brands detectorists already trust, and we'll only list brands we're able to sell properly.
