Weight Is the Specification Beginners Overlook

Everybody compares depth figures. Almost nobody compares weight — and weight is what decides whether you are still hunting properly in hour four.

At 1.32 kg this is among the lightest machines in the range. That matters more for your finds rate than any depth number, because a detector you can swing slowly, low and flat for a long session will consistently out-find a heavier one you rush through the last hour with.

Adjustable Sensitivity for Real Ground

Sensitivity is adjustable across the range, with a stated detection accuracy of ±1% and 100W of output driving the signal into the soil.

The practical technique: when the ground turns noisy, bring sensitivity down rather than winding discrimination up. You give away a little theoretical depth and gain a great deal of usable depth, because you can finally hear the faint targets underneath the chatter.

Rated for the Weather You Hunt In

IP67 protection covers rain, wet grass, morning dew and the splash at a shallow edge. It is a field rating rather than a diving rating — the machine handles wet ground confidently, and the control box is not intended for wading.

Compact Enough to Carry Everywhere

A 38.5 x 22.5 x 11.5 cm body fits in a rucksack or behind a car seat, so it comes with you on the off-chance rather than living in the garage waiting for a planned trip.
