A Needle You Watch, Not a Screen You Wait For

Digital detectors process a signal before showing it to you. An analog meter does not — the needle moves with the signal itself, in real time, across a 0 to 50 scale.

Detectorists who prefer analog machines talk about exactly this: there is nothing between you and the ground. You see the strength build as the coil crosses the target and falls away as it passes, and that shape tells you things a single number cannot.

Dials, Not Menus

Sensitivity and Discrimination are physical dials. You adjust them mid-swing, with gloves on, without stopping to navigate a menu or look at a screen — which in practice means you actually adjust them, rather than leaving the machine on one setting all day.

All-Metal Search

All-Metal mode hears everything under the coil with no filtering applied. On clean ground and on relic sites that is exactly what you want: nothing gets rejected, so nothing interesting gets missed.
